The Somerset County Board of Freeholders meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in the third-floor Freeholders’ Meeting Room in the Somerset County Administration Building, 20 Grove Street, Somerville, NJ 08876. Work sessions are held the Tuesday prior to each regular meeting, at 4:30 p.m. in the same location.

You can also sign up so that you receive their agenda before the meeting via email. http://www.co.somerset.nj.us/freeholder_agendas_minutes.html The 4:30 meeting usually lasts less than an hour and the public has an opportunity to address concerns if they choose.

There is a free parking garage that you can use so that you can walk directly into the building. The attendant at the gate will give you a form to fill out and gives you a parking pass.

It is a good idea to call the Freeholders office the day of the meeting just to make sure there aren’t any changes to the schedule.
